Nippon Pillar, the market leader in the Asian fitting market, brings its patented Super 300 Type Pillar fittingR (S-300 fitting) to the world. This fitting was based on input from users and equipment manufacturers, and includes all of the benefits the market wants - no retightening, small size, low particle counts, low torque and no heat required assembly.

 

Features


Easy tightening
To provide ease of assembly and help eliminate any excess tightening of union nuts, Pillar S300 fittings use a unique design called the Gauge Ring. When tightened a "click" sound indicates when the proper torque is reached.

Greatly enhanced workability due to simplified tightening control
The adoption of gauge ring made it possible to execute the union nut tightening control with sound, tactile impression and visual method, which greatly improved the workability, and eliminated the fluctuation in execution such as insufficient tightening, excessive tightening, etc., thus assuring the safe and stabilized performance. (Excluding a small-aperture product)

Initial tightening
The union nut makes contact with the projection of the gauge ring, to inform the completion of execution with sound and tactile impression.
Tightening limit
The union nut makes contact with the base of the gauge ring, to inform the limit of tightening.
 
Unique Seal Configuration
To achieve a maximum seal, Nippon Pillar fittings do not require great torque on their union nuts. As a result of Nippon Pillar's seal design, their fittings are leak-free for a longer period of time and through a wider range of operating temperatures.
Unrestricted Flow
In order to maximize liquid displacement and minimize the problem of internal voids at fitting connections; the sleeve, the PFA tubing, and the body of Pillar fittings come together with the same internal diameters. As a result of this unrestricted connection design, fluid resistance is minimized and flow and efficiency is maximized.
Compact body design
Compact body design without any decrease of mechanical strength.
Reduction of tightening torque
In comparison to other fittings on the market, Nippon Pillar's new seal configuration requires 1/2 - 2/3 less union-nut torque to achieve tightening.
Reliable in higher temperature and pressure
Maximum operating temperature for Pillar fittings is 392‹F (200‹C). Pillar fittings grip the PFA tubing tight enough to surpass the burst pressure of the PFA tubing connected.
High-Purity Systems Maintained
Innovative sleeve designs create higher integrity for ultra pure fluid applications that eliminate serious liquid pocket from the fitting.

- Size of tube used: 3 - 38.1mm (1/8" 1 -1/2")

*For 60‹C, the working pressure may change, depending on temperature
